Friday Favorites

I am loving summer! No schedule, kids playing happily together (most of the time), warm weather, playing outside and swimming. We've been able to play in several pools so far this summer and love being in the water. My kids are soaking up the sun and improving their cannonballs. Hope you are all enjoying your summer!

Better Late Than Never-Friday Favorites

Look what I found at Costco! By the way if you don't want to spend any money don't go to Costco. I swear ever time we go in there we come out with stuff we didn't plan on getting.

So, look what I bought!
Homemade ice cream machine.

I love homemade ice cream, definitely a favorite and I think a Summer must have. When I was growing up we would go over to my Aunts house and she would make us yummy homemade ice cream and then we would add raspberries to it. Yummy! :)
This was a treat because it only happened ever once in a while so when we had it, it was good.

Now I can have homemade ice cream whenever I want. Awesome!

Nothing goes better with homemade ice cream than, well, I think nothing goes better with homemade ice cream than raspberries and strawberries.
Here's my little raspberry and strawberry patch and now all I need is for them to grow, so I can enjoy homemade ice cream with my home grown raspberries and strawberries.

I'm a little excited and it's all a fun favorite Summer treat.

Happy Summer weekend!

The end is here!

That's right, the end of the school year is here. CRA-ZY!
We've been busy around here with singing programs, dance festivals and all of those end of the school year events. We only have 2 days left and then I guess Summer official begins. My 2 little cute monsters here are now that much bigger and I've decided that the older your kids get the faster the year goes by. Kind of sad actually. :(

Now what are we going to do?

Any fun Summer plans out there?

Well, lets see I know we will be keeping up on our reading and some homework to keep my kids smart...at least I'll be trying anyways. I know that there will be late nights and days spent at the pool and definitely we will be hanging with our family and friends. Hmm....
Well, it's a start. Right?
Well, good luck and let the games and kids home all day begin. ;)
