Ever wonder how you got so lucky?? I do.

I sure love these kiddos. Especially that handsome young man. He's turning 16 this next week and has had quite the ride the last several weeks after a bad crash. Lots of worry as he's recovered. Finishing up the school year has been a little crazy to say the least. But he's worked hard and I am amazed!

Yay for the end of another school year.Excited to head into a fun and relaxing summer with these kids of mine.

Weekend Favorite

A Summer favorite and a must. . . well, for me anyways, is a yummy garden and our little one is finally all finished and put into the ground. Yah!

We love, love tomatoes and I plants tons of them so that I have extra to jar and use throughout winter. I also love the tomatoes for fresh salsa...yum. I have also planted pumpkins, green bean, red onions, basil, cucumbers, zucchini, jalapeno's and bell peppers. I'm excited to try an epson salt and water spray on my bell peppers this year to see if they really will grow bigger and better. 

Now grow veggies and strawberries and raspberries so we can eat and enjoy you.

Friday's Favorite

School projects are not my most favorite things.  I've found that 60% of the projects are done by us parents.  This week my son came home having to do a Solar System project.  It is fun to be able to work on it together and let them him come up with what he wanted to do.  I must say, we are really happy with how this turned out.  I have also found that as your children get older, they can take on a lot more of the work. I hope we get a good grade!

Friday Favorites

So it's this cute little guys birthday today! Oh I love him! He has been such a joy to our family. He is amazing in so, so many ways. 

The most amazing thing about it is that the picture below is him today!

21!... Yes, 21 years old today!

How did that happen, I do not know. The above picture was yesterday! I promise. : )

Unfortunately, we will not be with him today... 

he is currently in Mongolia serving the wonderful people there, and LOVING it, I might add.

So we will celebrate his big day when he gets home in a couple months.
