Who doesn't love a good sale?? You've got to love the sales that come around on the holidays and holiday weekends. With a little bit of looking and checking things out, great deals can be found. My most favorite is the "Black Friday" sale after Thanksgiving. It has truly become a holiday tradition with my sisters. Yes, it is crazy and everyone feels like junk by mid-afternoon from being up for so long, but it definitely is a "can't miss" for me! : )

A Trip!

Definitely a favorite!

Definitely the beach!

I love the beach, the water and the sun. Hmm....the sun, something we haven't seen much here at home in Utah. We have crazy rainy cool temperatures. How's your weather?

A little crazy too?

So it was a real treat heading to warmer weather in Cancun, Mexico.

We spent our "lazy" days walking the beach, reading our books pool side and definitely catching some "warm" sun.

Very nice! :)

Hanging out by the main pool was also pretty entertaining with all sorts of resort activities from water aerobics, to dancing, and even a little soccer ball competition.

In the evenings there were shows and bands playing into the night and its always nice when everything is all inclusive. We Like!

It's always nice to get out of town for a little while, but

then its always nice to come home. Good memories and a nice warm break!

More new stuff...

A week ago we mentioned that our new 4th of July product was up. We are loving the styles and getting ready for all our summer celebrations.

We wanted to make mention of another new item that is up online

This is our knit double-bud headband.

A little different from our double fabric-flower headband, but a little softer,more delicate style. As with all our product, it's available in all our great knit colors.

Friday Favorites...

I LOVE the cute things little boys do. They want so much to be like their Dad. They want to wear ties, help wash the car, work in the yard, and shave like their Dad. My little guy got to "shave" like his Dad this week. He thought it was so funny to put shaving cream on and then wipe it off his face. I'm glad my boys are still young. Enjoy the cute things your little ones do...they grow-up too fast!

Friday Favorites

This week I thought it was appropriate to give my Friday Favorites homage to Mother's Day.

Not that it's my favorite holiday, although the extra added measure of helping out and "Sure Mom, no problem" answers are definitely an added bonus!

But my "favorite" is being a Mom. Yes, it has it's share of ups and downs, no doubt. But really, when all is said and done, no other job in the whole world is more rewarding (and trying and crazy and satisfying and enlightening and heart warming) than being a "Mom".

I have five kids.... I love how much they are the same, but how they are completely different. I love seeing them grow and interact. I love how the help me see the better things in life... they notice the small, simple things.

My oldest just turned "20"! (yes, it's kind of freaking me out) and my youngest is 7.... Oh wow, how time does fly! It was yesterday, I swear, that my oldest was 7!

There may be lots of days that we'd like to throw in the towel and call it good. But soak it up, enjoy each moment because yours will be 20 before you know it too!! : )
