Joys of Being a Mom

Do you ever wonder if your doing a good job as a Mom? I know sometimes I question whether or not my kids appreciate the little things I do. We don't always need to be thanked, because this is a "job" that requires a lot of selflessness.

I found this note sitting on the piano the other night before I went up to bed. Best thing that happened to me that day.

Up in the NiGhT

Welcome my thing 1 and my thing 2!

Okay, I love my little people to bits and pieces, but they are up in the night, one is coming up one night and the other the next night, like it's a team effort or something and it's not just every once in a while, it's every night. ARG! I enjoy my sleep and I'm a little grouchy when I've been woken up and that's probably because I can't ever quickly just check out, it takes me awhile to fall asleep.

Anyways, I don't understand what's going on, they both have cute comfy beds to sleep in, but for some unknown reason they prefer to sleep on the floor at the end of my bed. Maybe we will have better luck this weekend. Here's hoping! ;)

Where to start?

I woke up this morning to a horrible smell coming from this black beauty (my direct TV box) here sitting on top of my garbage can in the garage. Apparently it must have blown up, burned a very large mother board or something because my whole house stunk like a very large battery on fire. Fun stuff! With the holiday and everything yesterday, I now have some house cleaning to do. More fun stuff! Anyone jealous?

Yes, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, oh and we can't forget the never ending pile of dirty laundry. I love it when it's done. How are you spending your Tuesday?

One of those days

I knew it was only a matter of time. I could feel it creeping up on me these past couple of days, the ever dreaded common cold, oh and did I mention that I have two little people around me that have been coughing up a storm, arg. I feel a little LESS motivated today, probably because my head, ears and throat hurt. When your a little under the weather, doesn't it feel like your moving in slow motion? and tend to be a little slow with everything you do? Kind of like a turtle. Today, I think I'm a turtle. : (

Yay! The weekend is here!

Don't you just feel that way sometimes.... ha, ha! It's been such a crazy week.... super good, but just going from thing to thing, one of those that's been great to have everything happen that has, but oh my! Just a bit of a "bRaIn OvEerLoAd"!

SOOO glad the weekend is here, to take a bit of a breather, to reboot and be geared up for next week!

It came! It only took a very long two weeks to get here. Don't you just love it when that brown box shows up at your door and it makes your whole day. Love it! That brown box contains a bunch of flower seeds that I am going to start growing indoors before Spring. Okay, this is something else I have never done before, but I am very excited about because I love flowers and how awesome would it be to grow your own and enjoy them indoors before Spring. Very Cool! I can't wait for Spring!

Speaking of flowers, you have to check back because we have the cutest new fabric flower bows and headbands for Spring in all of our fun colors. So Cute! We will post them soon, I promise.
