Joys of Being a Mom

Do you ever wonder if your doing a good job as a Mom? I know sometimes I question whether or not my kids appreciate the little things I do. We don't always need to be thanked, because this is a "job" that requires a lot of selflessness.

I found this note sitting on the piano the other night before I went up to bed. Best thing that happened to me that day.

Up in the NiGhT

Welcome my thing 1 and my thing 2!

Okay, I love my little people to bits and pieces, but they are up in the night, one is coming up one night and the other the next night, like it's a team effort or something and it's not just every once in a while, it's every night. ARG! I enjoy my sleep and I'm a little grouchy when I've been woken up and that's probably because I can't ever quickly just check out, it takes me awhile to fall asleep.

Anyways, I don't understand what's going on, they both have cute comfy beds to sleep in, but for some unknown reason they prefer to sleep on the floor at the end of my bed. Maybe we will have better luck this weekend. Here's hoping! ;)

Where to start?

I woke up this morning to a horrible smell coming from this black beauty (my direct TV box) here sitting on top of my garbage can in the garage. Apparently it must have blown up, burned a very large mother board or something because my whole house stunk like a very large battery on fire. Fun stuff! With the holiday and everything yesterday, I now have some house cleaning to do. More fun stuff! Anyone jealous?

Yes, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, oh and we can't forget the never ending pile of dirty laundry. I love it when it's done. How are you spending your Tuesday?

One of those days

I knew it was only a matter of time. I could feel it creeping up on me these past couple of days, the ever dreaded common cold, oh and did I mention that I have two little people around me that have been coughing up a storm, arg. I feel a little LESS motivated today, probably because my head, ears and throat hurt. When your a little under the weather, doesn't it feel like your moving in slow motion? and tend to be a little slow with everything you do? Kind of like a turtle. Today, I think I'm a turtle. : (

Aren't they so cute! I've started my flowers and veggies indoor this year and it has been so fun to watch them grow. #1 impaient, #2- sweet peas and #3- cucumbers. It's a little taste of Spring.
